Resources for the Revolution

I am always thinking about alternative forms of education because I strongly feel that public schooling is not going to prepare our children adequately for society and the world in general. We are delusional to think that outdated systems and methods that lack backing in terms of research and a foothold on reality are going to be the means to facilitate the development of strong, passionate, motivated, inspirational citizenry for a globalized society.

While the passion may be there and the motivation, we must also make sure we understand the ‘nitty gritty’ of such endeavours. So here are two posts that I found useful. Teacher Tom takes time to discuss his educational philosophy and the workings of cooperatives. And Cooperative Catalyst provides the InciteEd’s tools for a viable learning revolution. I’m game, are you?

  1. Thank you for sharing my post about IncitEd. Our mission aligns closely with yours, and I’m excited to have found your blog. It’s so great to see others with the same passion fighting the same fight.

    • Your welcome! Your post was awesome and so very necessary. We all want to change the way education and learning take place especially in the public sphere and so often lack the resources. All the best with all that you’re doing and thank you so much for taking the time to comment.
